02 / The right fit
Built for owners who need a practical financial partner.
Based in East Brunswick, NJ, Clip Bookkeeping LLC works fully virtually with small and mid-sized businesses that value straightforward communication, organized records, and a better grasp of their numbers.
You want consistent, understandable bookkeeping support.
Your books need cleanup before you can trust the numbers.
You want guidance that makes the process easier to own.
03 / Pricing
Monthly bookkeeping, priced by complexity.
Monthly bookkeeping falls into three tiers, based on how much activity runs through your books. These are guideline ranges — your final monthly fee is quoted after a review of your books.
Simple
Around $350 /month
Straightforward books with a lower transaction volume.
One bank account and one credit card account
Maximum 50 transactions per month in total
Moderate
$450–$550 /month
More monthly activity across several accounts.
Multiple bank accounts and/or credit card accounts
Maximum 200 transactions per month in total
Complex
$650 and above /month
Higher volume, with multiple accounts and sales channels.
Many accounts and channels to reconcile each month
More than 200 transactions per month in total
How quoting works: these ranges are guidelines, not fixed packages. After a short review of your books, you’ll get a firm monthly quote based on your actual volume and complexity. Book cleanup is generally a one-time lumpsum amount and is quoted separately, also after a review, since the work depends on how far behind or disorganized the records are.
04 / Approach
A simple, collaborative way forward.
Every engagement begins with understanding what you need and where your books stand today.
1
Start with a conversation
Share what’s working, what isn’t, and what you want from your bookkeeping.
2
Clarify the next step
Identify the right kind of support — ongoing bookkeeping, cleanup, or training.
3
Build a better rhythm
Create a more organized, understandable way to keep your financial records on track.
05 / About
Meet Ajay.
Ajay founded Clip Bookkeeping LLC to help small and mid-sized businesses grow by understanding their numbers — any small or mid-sized business that wants clearer books is welcome here.
Hi, I’m Ajay, a Bookkeeping Professional and founder of Clip Bookkeeping LLC. For me, bookkeeping is a way of helping businesses grow and reach their potential — by understanding the numbers. When your books are clear, your decisions get clearer too, and that’s the kind of partner I want to be for the owners I work with.
I bring an unusual mix to the work: an MSc in Computer Science and an MBA in Finance, where I graduated as valedictorian, plus more than 20 years in information technology — most of it in the finance domain. Spending that much of my career in the finance domain taught me to respect accurate data, and my MBA deepened the financial side of that: it equipped me for this work and genuinely enhanced what I can offer a small business.
I work primarily in QuickBooks and can also work in Xero or any other tool of your preference. Outside of work, I’m a licensed private pilot (ASEL) with an instrument rating — flying teaches you to trust checklists, follow procedures, and never skip a detail. I bring that same keen eye and methodical, procedural approach to your books.
Based out of East Brunswick (NJ), Clip works fully virtually, and I’m glad to work with any small or mid-sized business that wants to understand its numbers better.

06 / Common questions
Before we talk.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
The initial focus is on small and mid-sized businesses in and around East Brunswick, NJ. All services are delivered virtually, so we can work together remotely.
Can you help if my books are behind?
Yes. Book cleanup is one of the core services, aimed at bringing disorganized or behind records into a clearer, more workable state.
Do you offer payroll or tax filing?
No. Clip Bookkeeping LLC focuses on bookkeeping, cleanup, and training or consulting. Payroll administration and tax filing are outside the current service scope.
Can you help me make sense of my numbers?
Yes — that's a big part of the job. As part of consulting, I'll walk through your financial reports with you in plain English: what the numbers say about your business, what deserves attention, and what to do next. The goal is for you to understand your numbers and make better decisions.
